Always Be Like Zacchaeus

Genesis 24:12: And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. 13 Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: 14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. 15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham*s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

Who but God could guide Abraham*s servant to the right place at the right time with the right prayer to find the right bride for his master? Who but God could work in the circumstances of my life at exactly the right time and place to humble me, make me see my need for Him and make me willing to surrender myself to Him and cause me to turn on a Christian radio station and listen to exactly the right message by the right preacher at the exactly the moment He opened my heart? Who but God can lead a believer such as you into the presence of an unbeliever at exactly the right time and place with exactly the right words he needs to hear to trust Christ?

Luke 19:5: And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. 6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
